Terms of Service

Welcome to Amazuga.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Amazuga, including amazuga.com, amazuga.rw, amazuga.co.rw, related subdomains, landing pages, forms, listings, advertisements, social media pages, messaging flows, databases, and any related services we operate.

Amazuga is operated by Mapiverse LLC, a United States limited liability company. References to "Amazuga," "we," "us," or "our" mean Mapiverse LLC, doing business as or operating the Amazuga property listing platform, unless otherwise stated.

By using Amazuga, submitting a listing, creating an account, contacting another user, responding to an advertisement, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use Amazuga.

1. What Amazuga Does

Amazuga is a property listing platform for real estate, including houses, apartments, apartment units, buildings, land, commercial properties, rentals, sales, and related property opportunities.

Amazuga allows users to submit, browse, search, publish, share, and respond to property listings.

Amazuga is not a Rwandan company, broker, real estate agency, legal adviser, financial adviser, surveyor, valuer, title verifier, escrow provider, or party to any property transaction unless expressly stated in writing.

2. No Guarantee of Listings or Transactions

Listings on Amazuga may be submitted by owners, agents, brokers, landlords, sellers, developers, representatives, or other users.

We do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, available, authorized, legally transferable, properly priced, correctly located, or suitable for any user.

Users must independently verify all property information before making decisions. This includes ownership, UPI, title, parcel size, boundaries, zoning, location, construction status, permits, utilities, taxes, price, availability, documents, and the authority of the person advertising the property.

3. User Eligibility

You may use Amazuga only if you are legally able to enter into binding agreements and comply with applicable law.

By using Amazuga, you confirm that all information you provide is truthful, accurate, current, and not misleading.

4. Accounts and Contact Information

You are responsible for all activity connected to your account, phone number, email address, submitted listings, uploaded content, and communications.

We may require verification before or after allowing access to certain features.

We may refuse, suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Amazuga at any time.

5. Listing Authorization

By submitting a property listing, you represent and warrant that you are the owner, authorized agent, landlord, seller, developer, representative, or other person legally permitted to advertise the property.

You also confirm that:

  • The listing is accurate, current, and not misleading.
  • You have the right to submit all photos, videos, documents, text, prices, location information, and other listing content.
  • The listing does not violate any law, contract, privacy right, intellectual property right, agency right, ownership right, or third-party right.
  • You will promptly update or remove listings that are no longer accurate, available, or authorized.

6. Verification Requests

We may request additional information about a listing, including UPI, parcel details, ownership information, authorization documents, identity information, phone verification, location confirmation, photos, videos, price confirmation, or other evidence.

We may reject, remove, hide, suspend, demote, label, or mark a listing as unverified if we cannot confirm its accuracy, authorization, quality, location, or legitimacy.

7. Prohibited Listings and Content

You may not submit listings, messages, or content that:

  • Are false, fraudulent, misleading, deceptive, or impersonate another person.
  • Advertise a property without authorization.
  • Use stolen, copied, AI-generated, altered, or unauthorized photos, videos, documents, descriptions, or contact details in a misleading way.
  • Violate privacy, intellectual property, land ownership, agency, tenant, landlord, buyer, seller, or contractual rights.
  • Include spam, scams, bait-and-switch pricing, fake availability, fake locations, fake urgency, or fake contact information.
  • Promote illegal activity, discrimination, harassment, threats, violence, exploitation, or abusive conduct.
  • Contain malware, scraping tools, automated abuse, or attempts to interfere with Amazuga.
  • Are duplicative, low quality, irrelevant, or inconsistent with our listing standards.

8. Our Right to Remove, Modify, or Control Content

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to remove, hide, edit, reject, demote, disable, suspend, merge, split, categorize, verify, unverify, promote, or delete any listing, account, content, message, page, or user access at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice.

This includes listings we believe are inaccurate, unauthorized, suspicious, low quality, outdated, duplicative, harmful, unlawful, misleading, or inconsistent with Amazuga's standards.

We do not guarantee that any listing will remain available, visible, searchable, promoted, indexed, ranked, or displayed in any particular way.

9. Rights You Grant Amazuga

You retain any ownership rights you have in content you submit.

However, by submitting, uploading, sending, posting, or making available any content to Amazuga, including photos, videos, text, documents, property details, location information, prices, agent information, contact information, and listing data, you grant Amazuga a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid, transferable, sublicensable, perpetual, and irrevocable license to host, store, copy, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, modify, crop, resize, translate, adapt, promote, advertise, syndicate, analyze, commercialize, and otherwise use that content in connection with Amazuga or our business.

This license allows us to use your submitted content on Amazuga websites, social media, advertisements, search engines, partner websites, emails, messages, data products, commercial products, and future services.

You confirm that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.

This license survives removal of your listing or termination of your account, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

10. No Exclusive Rights to Listings

Submitting a listing to Amazuga does not give you exclusive rights over the listing page, URL, leads, ranking, placement, design, format, images, presentation, or property data.

We may combine, deduplicate, reorganize, enhance, summarize, translate, geocode, map, classify, or otherwise modify listing information.

We may display similar or competing listings near your listing.

11. Payments, Fees, Promotions, and Referrals

Amazuga may charge fees for listings, promotions, referrals, advertising, subscriptions, verification, or other services.

Fees, promotional terms, referral rewards, listing rewards, payment rules, eligibility requirements, and payout amounts may change at any time.

We may deny, delay, reduce, cancel, reverse, or refuse any payment, reward, credit, promotion, or referral benefit if we believe there has been fraud, abuse, duplicate submission, low-quality submission, ineligible activity, violation of these Terms, or other suspicious conduct.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, payment of a listing fee does not guarantee approval, publication, ranking, traffic, leads, sales, rentals, visibility, or continued display.

12. Platform Ranking and Promotion

Amazuga may rank, sort, recommend, promote, demote, verify, label, or display listings using our own systems and discretion.

Paid listings, verified listings, promoted listings, newer listings, higher-quality listings, listings with more complete information, or listings that meet our internal standards may receive different treatment.

We do not guarantee views, clicks, inquiries, leads, sales, rentals, revenue, ranking, or placement.

13. Communications

By submitting your contact information or using Amazuga, you agree that we may contact you by phone, SMS, WhatsApp, email, platform message, social media, or other communication channels about listings, verification, support, marketing, promotions, payments, referrals, and service updates, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for your communications with other users. You may not spam, harass, mislead, scam, impersonate, threaten, or abuse others.

14. Privacy Policy

Our collection, use, storage, disclosure, transfer, and protection of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

By using Amazuga, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

Amazuga may be operated, hosted, supported, or processed outside Rwanda, including in the United States or other countries, as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Copyright, Photo, and Listing Complaints

If you believe content on Amazuga violates your copyright, privacy rights, ownership rights, agency rights, or other legal rights, you may contact us and request review.

A complaint should include:

  • Your name and contact information.
  • The URL or identifying details of the listing.
  • A description of the content or issue.
  • Evidence that you own or control the relevant rights, where applicable.
  • A statement that the information in your complaint is accurate.

We may remove, disable, edit, investigate, reject, or restore content at our discretion. We may request more information before taking action.

16. Amazuga Intellectual Property

Amazuga's name, brand, logos, design, software, database, page layouts, features, listings structure, platform content, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors.

You may not copy, imitate, resell, frame, reproduce, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit Amazuga or its content without our written permission.

17. Scraping, Copying, and Database Use

You may not scrape, copy, crawl, harvest, download, reproduce, index, resell, republish, train models on, or commercially exploit Amazuga listings, photos, data, pages, maps, prices, contact information, or other content without our written permission.

You may not use automated tools, bots, browser automation, scripts, bulk download methods, or similar technologies to access or collect Amazuga content.

We may block, throttle, suspend, investigate, or take legal or technical action against suspected scraping, automated access, abuse, or unauthorized data use.

18. Future Domains and Brand Protection

Amazuga may operate across multiple domains, including domains that are not yet active or registered.

No user may register, use, imitate, or misrepresent an Amazuga-related domain, brand name, logo, social media handle, or confusingly similar identity without our permission.

You may not falsely claim to represent, partner with, work for, or be endorsed by Amazuga.

19. Third-Party Services

Amazuga may link to or integrate with third-party websites, maps, payment providers, messaging tools, social media platforms, analytics tools, advertisers, hosting providers, or external services.

We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, availability, security, accuracy, fees, or actions.

20. No Legal, Financial, Brokerage, or Valuation Advice

Amazuga does not provide legal advice, financial advice, tax advice, valuation advice, surveying advice, title advice, brokerage advice, or investment advice.

Any prices, valuations, estimates, maps, coordinates, locations, descriptions, or property information are informational only.

Users should consult qualified professionals before entering into any property transaction.

21. Transactions Between Users

Any transaction, negotiation, payment, lease, sale, referral, commission, viewing, inspection, or agreement between users is solely between those users.

Amazuga is not responsible for disputes, fraud, misrepresentation, payment failures, failed transactions, property defects, title issues, boundary issues, agency disputes, tenant disputes, landlord disputes, buyer disputes, seller disputes, or other user conduct.

22. Disclaimer of Warranties

Amazuga is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee that Amazuga will be accurate, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, complete, current, profitable, or available at all times.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amazuga and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.

This includes lost profits, lost data, lost business, lost opportunities, failed transactions, property disputes, fraud, user conduct, listing inaccuracies, or service interruptions.

Our total liability for any claim related to Amazuga will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, during the three months before the claim arose.

24. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Amazuga and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of Amazuga.
  • Your listings, content, or communications.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of law or third-party rights.
  • Any transaction, dispute, or communication involving you.

25. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, listings, access, payments, rewards, promotions, or use of Amazuga at any time, with or without notice.

You may stop using Amazuga at any time.

Sections concerning content licenses, intellectual property, scraping, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, disputes, and any provisions that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply after termination.

26. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

Updated Terms may be posted on Amazuga or otherwise communicated to users. Continued use of Amazuga after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

27. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of New York, United States, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes between you and Amazuga or Mapiverse LLC relating to these Terms or your use of Amazuga will be handled in the courts located in New York, New York, United States.

However, Amazuga and Mapiverse LLC may seek legal, equitable, injunctive, regulatory, or enforcement relief in any competent court or jurisdiction we consider appropriate, including Rwanda, where a dispute involves fraud, unauthorized listings, intellectual property misuse, scraping, brand impersonation, unlawful property advertising, user misconduct, or harm connected to property located in Rwanda.

Nothing in these Terms limits the application of mandatory laws, regulator authority, or court jurisdiction that cannot legally be waived.
